Sunset Engagement Pictures
Julia + Ed made it out to NJ just before the sun was setting, and they can probably tell you how I chased the sunlight up to the very last drop of it! That good, harsh, dramatic light is just my favorite to work with on engagement and portrait sessions and it just sets such a tone for the session. The amazing light, paired with an even more amazing couple, who had the “serious but cool” stare down to a T, made for an awesome engagement session. We took these in a [working] train station which tends to be pretty slow on the weekends, and you’d never know… but the grit of the gravel, the twinkle of light hitting the puddles on the ground, the shadows from the fencing, and just every little corner you wouldn’t think pictures are possible, made this trip out from NYC to the countryside of Far Hills, NJ totally worth it!
