Let's Create Memories Together.
NYC Documentary Family Photography
One of the things I love about photographing weddings is that it’s just the start of a wonderful relationship with my clients that I can extend to forever. Not only do I get to continue to follow along the journeys of my clients through Facebook and Instagram, but the fact that they also call me to capture these milestone moments as they build their families, is just mind blowing to me, and also – so humbling at the same time. I get to be a part of their lives from the moment they put those rings on (or actually from even before during their engagement sessions), and get to watch them grow.
Colleen and Bill’s wedding 3 years ago, was full of amazing moments, and getting to see the familiar faces of their families at their NYC apartment, nestled in the Village, was also so refreshing, that I felt like part of the family. So onto their Day in the Life session, which I have started doing and am in love with! We chose a sliver of their day to document their afternoon activities with their new little one, June, who also happens to be the same age as my little one! It’s those mundane day to day activities that make life memorable for me, and it’s those moments that I’m so passionate about documenting for my clients: the daily walks with the dog, the iced coffee run when you’re running low on fuel as first time parents, the moments when your kids just make you laugh for the smallest things, those first bites of food and the faces they make (and yes the parents also make faces!) – I could go on and on.
This is my favorite part about being a documentary family photographer – getting to witness these moments as an observer – right alongside my amazing clients…
thank you for having me…
