Rachel and Ben’s story starts right after Hurricane Sandy, in Asbury Park, New Jersey, where they met during the clean-up and rebuilding of the iconic NJ beach town. So it’s only apt that their NJ shore wedding, complete with their beautiful 3 month old daughter, take place in the town where their story started, and lived in until recently. The day was perfect for the beach, and crowds flooded into Asbury Park, with many onlookers stationed right around the ceremony which took place on the beach, because I guess they were curious too and wanted to be a part of the wedding! Tim McLoone’s Supper Club, located right on the Asbury Park boardwalk, overlooking the beach, was the setting for their beautiful beach wedding, with the beautiful afternoon light pouring into the windows and setting the scene. We also couldn’t leave without a few photos of the bride and groom at some of the classic NJ shore spots – although I prefer to keep it a little more relaxed and chose some of the less touched upon spots, the empty buildings, the forgotten murals, add a little character to what once was a completely different Asbury Park than today’s beach town.
