Nadi + Kevin | Maritime Parc | Jersey City, NJ

Nadi + Kevin’s wedding was at the Maritime Parc in Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ. I got a chance to meet them both during their engagement session, and realized quickly this was going to be a fun wedding to capture. Both are incredibly nice, sweet and genuine people who appreciate family and friends, and very spiritual, so I knew that capturing this side of them was going to be essential to who they were. I always find that the best times to capture moments that genuinely represent who you are, are the “off” times, those soft quiet moments before the wedding, getting ready, anxiously awaiting at the back of the church, and the in-betweens – the rest are just formalities. So as I approached Nadi + Kevin’s wedding, I wanted to feel that deep connection to them through these moments.

The wedding started at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Bergenfield, NJ and ended with an amazing party, full of dancing (and if you know a Latino wedding, you know that dance floor is packed!), at the Maritime Parc.
