Clinton NJ Wedding Photographer // It was most definitely a cold winter morning in Clinton, NJ, where I met Ilana and Mendy to connect with and photograph their lovely personalities together. One of the things I love most about inviting my couples to my neck of the woods is the chance to explore parts that I hadn’t even gotten a chance to discover yet either, and show them around. Clinton is an adorable little town, known for it’s Red Mill, and streaming river, and cute little stores – so we took a little walk and explored the parts that might not be as “popular” to the general public – like underneath bridges, and inside of woods and alleyways. What I loved about Ilana and Mendy was not only their willingness to go with the flow and try new things, but their laughter and fun spirit about going on this adventure with me. As we got to know each other a bit throughout the session, I learned what makes them laugh, what makes them curl up and cuddle, what makes them a little uncomfortable… and it was all fun to experience together. I can’t wait to get to photograph their upcoming Orthodox Jewish wedding in March, where, if I’m not mistaken, there will be LOTS of emotion and activity to capture! I loved getting to know them before the big day, so that we can feel comfortable with each other at their most special day, and allow them to be themselves!
