I was lucky enough to be a part of Tessa + Curt’s intimate Paris wedding just a few months ago last December, so when they invited me to be a part of their 2nd wedding celebration at their home in Philadelphia, I was super excited to get to see them again and their families, since we got to know each other so well. This one would be an intimate backyard BBQ wedding at their home, which they just moved into a year ago, and are slowly making it their home. The house itself is… wow… I was speechless walking in, as to how they’ve really managed to make this their little 19th century Parisian home in the heart of Philly, lined with photos from their wedding in Paris (of course, who wouldn’t be proud to walk into a client’s home and see their photos all over the walls!).
Their guests were made up of extended family and close friends, filling every corner of their home and back yard, beautifully decorated by Tessa’s mom, lining up to enjoy their savory selection of French cheese and wine, and amazing Philly BBQ. It truly felt like being part of the family to be there amongst everyone who I felt I already knew, and they already knew me, through the photos. Here were some of my favorites from the day, telling the story of their quaint and intimate backyard wedding.
