A Rustic DIY Backyard Wedding
Rosie + Brian’s wedding was one to remember- a backyard wedding at Brian’s parent’s home (also where he grew up) filled with special DIY touches put together by his family members, made this a memorable and meaningful memory. The ceremony took place outdoors, with guests sitting on hay bales, and surrounded by old photos and memorabilia, and beautiful flowers. Luckily we just missed the rain storm that passed by, bringing cocktail hour into the tent, before finally clearing up and providing a beautiful, sunny day for their wedding. I loved the goofiness of these two together, completely evident in the photos, their love of laughter, dancing (and I mean A-mazing dance skills by the bride!) and the untraditional decision they made to get ready in the same home together, doing a bit more of a casual “reveal” as they saw each other for the first time.
