Let's Create Memories Together.
Mike + Carla are near and dear to my heart, because I have known Mike since he was just about 8 years old, and he has been best friends with my brother ever since… I’ve known Carla’s family also, actually, coincidentally from my waitressing days in college… they were high school sweet hearts and have been together since… so it was super interesting to see our futures collide, all coming from different, but the same paths, and coming full circle to celebrate and capture their wedding together.
A bit about them both, they are two of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, and their fun sense of humors (evident in Carla’s and Mike’s expressions throughout the day) and caring personalities bring them to be the perfect pair – no wonder they’ve been together for so long!
Mike + Carla chose to bring their families together just across the river from NJ where they’re from – in New York City at the Central Park Boathouse. It was a rainy, wet day in September, having been spoiled with amazing weather all summer long, it was bound to happen – but the spirit of these two and their families remained carefree and go with the flow, which I loved. To me, your wedding is your wedding, and the way it’s supposed to be will still create amazing memories to look back on – it doesn’t have to be a picture perfect, sunny, perfectly planned day, because it already is perfect in it’s own way – and I think we managed to capture that spirit in their photos of the day, and had a little fun with their rainy wedding day photos.
Take a look… and thanks to my wonderful guest photographer Niño who also made some amazing images with me!
