I’ve had a great opportunity to connect lately with a lot of NYC couples who’ve trusted a country girl like me to capture their NYC weddings with a little bit of a twist. Beth and Joe are no exception. We connected by phone just through the images I had sent them, a couple of nice conversations, and they even came out to visit and get to know each other a bit more through their Connection Session in Gladstone, NJ. As my first wedding of the year, I was both excited and nervous to get things started for the wedding season, but I knew I had a wonderful couple who would ease the process with their trust, and carefree attitude, as they just wanted to have fun, enjoy their wedding with their guests, and live and capture those emotions and moments. Their Harvard Club NYC wedding was a wonderful and elegant venue, that provided for an intimate setting to enjoy the moments and mingle with their guests. I also loved the personal touches throughout the evening, with dear lifelong friends participating as the officiant, guest singers, and a surprise Bob Dylan cover band who they’ve known for years as well. These were some of my favorites from the day, as I laid out the story of their beautiful union.
